State Road 207 Water Reclamation Facility
St. Johns County, Florida
The State Road 207 Water Reclamation Facility project expands St. Johns County’s wastewater treatment and reclaimed water capacity. DCCM provided comprehensive engineering, permitting, and construction administration for the St. Johns County Utility Department, supporting the project from pre-design permitting through construction. The work included site design; pump and booster station planning; approximately 15 miles of wastewater and reclaimed water pipelines; stormwater management, roadway and pond relocation, landscape and irrigation plans; and erosion control and restoration plans for more than a dozen pipeline segments. DCCM also coordinated permitting with St. Johns County, SJRWMD, FDEP, and FDOT, and supported construction through shop drawing reviews, responses to requests for information, site visits, inspections, record drawings, and permit closeouts.
The facility came online May 11, 2026, with an initial treatment capacity of 3.25 million gallons per day and the ability to expand to 6.5 million gallons per day. By producing reclaimed water for irrigation, the facility helps conserve drinking water supplies. Over the next 20 years, the project is expected to prevent more than one million pounds of nitrogen and phosphorus from entering the Matanzas River.
